African-American women formed and popularized the Polar Bears of Martha’s Vineyard. They perform early morning water aerobics on Inkwell Beach and induct new members daily☀️🏖️
Join Kevin Davenport (c/o ‘87) and the Polar Bears as new members are inducted. Kevin’s mother just retired as a Polar Bear instructor and Kevin will carry on her routines in her tradition.
Swimming attire recommended🩱And be sure to wear water shoes!!! Also bring a towel and drinking water.
