DESCRIPTION:The Polar Bears of Martha’s Vineyard\, a longstanding tradition founded and popularized by African American women\, gather for early morning water aerobics at Inkwell Beach\, welcoming new members each day. \n\n\n\nJoin Kevin Davenport (Class of ’87) and the Polar Bears as they continue this cherished ritual with a special induction for new members. Kevin’s mother\, a longtime Polar Bear instructor\, recently retired\, and he will proudly carry on her routines in her honor. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear appropriate swimming attire and water shoes. Please also bring a towel and drinking water.
